AFH Design, LLC is located in Saint Louis, Missouri and provides architectural and interpretive planning, design and consulting services for zoos and aquariums, parks and organizations dedicated to conservation and recreation. The firm was founded by architect Ana Hernandez, who has dedicated her entire career to the pursuit of excellence in the design of not just exhibits, but experiences that capture the imagination and changes the minds of people and their outlook on wildlife and wild places.

Ana F. Hernandez, Principal of AFH Design, LLC has over twenty of experience in the design of zoological parks, eco-destinations, cultural institutions and public places. Ana received her degree in architecture from the University of San Buenaventura in Cali, Colombia in 1994. Ana has been involved in projects in South America, Central America, and North America, where her firm is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
Under Ana’s leadership as principal owner, AFH has grown to include a host of specialists that depending on the project’s needs can be included to provide the client with high quality design and planning solutions.Her projects combine effective solutions, with sensitivity to the environment and to the needs of the client.
