This highly themed structure interprets the fascinating world of the leaf cutter ant, and gives visitors a glimpse of the elaborate architecture of the leaf cutter ant colony. The exterior of the building represents a typical leaf cutter ant mound, expanded to giant proportions. Visitors enter the theater, constructed to represent the interior of the mound, including the tunnels and chambers of the ant colony. An educational video interprets the amazing ants, and describes  their importance to ecosystem.
